Canada answers

How long does it take to learn data analytics?

Six to eight weeks of structured learning is enough to land a junior data analyst role if you put in the project work. Most career switchers see their first interview within two months of starting. The skills compound for years, but you do not need years to start.

The 6 to 8 week core

Excel fundamentals, Power BI dashboards, SQL queries, and one solid project. That is the minimum viable analyst toolkit. Live cohort plus recordings means you do not have to keep up in real time.

Months two to four: applying

CV rewrite, mock interviews, networking with hiring teams. Most students get their first offer in this window.

Year one on the job

The bigger learning happens here. You will see how messy real data is, how stakeholders actually phrase questions, and what good and bad analysis looks like in practice.
